Understand ownership
Establish the relevant entities, beneficial ownership, source of funds and authority to act. Ownership and control are documented at the appropriate project and counterparty level.
Review the transaction
Assess applicable restrictions, end use, counterparties and equipment for the specific arrangement. Technical design and commercial structure do not substitute for the required reviews or approvals.
Disclose our interests
Where we earn fees, co-invest or retain an interest, disclose the relevant role and conflicts to the parties involved. Define responsibility and decision rights in the project documents.
Maintain the evidence
Record the source, date and scope of material statements. Distinguish opportunities, signed rights, energized capacity, deployed equipment and accepted services; update the record when circumstances change.
Clear ownership. Clear responsibility.
We do not use arrangements designed to conceal beneficial ownership or evade applicable restrictions. Project eligibility and readiness are determined through the relevant evidence and approvals.
